2. Killerspin Revolution SVR Table Tennis Table

At this point we’re looking at tables that are quite expensive and probably only for those who are very serious about their game. This one is significantly more money than the previous table from Cornilleau, and is not something you would be for typical, light home use.

It is described by Killerspin as a “premium state-of-the-art table”. It’s made with 1 inch (22mm) thick high density fiberboard for the best durability and a consistent bounce. The blue top also features a glare reduction coating.

The arched metal base helps to make the table as stable as possible. This is a professional-quality table that has been used in the Killerspin Extreme and Spinvitational Tournaments.

Pros:

  • Professional level quality.
  • Extremely durable and well-built.
  • Killerspin has an excellent reputation.

Cons:

  • Very costly.

3. Cornilleau 500M Crossover Indoor/Outdoor Blue Table Tennis Table

Now we’re taking a big step up in price. This one is significantly more than any of the others we’ve featured so far. This is an indoor / outdoor table, so its also significantly different, and potentially more useful, than the other tables covered so far.

Of course, it uses the standard dimensions. It has a 7mm laminate surface that is specially designed to reduce glare. The glare can be an issue when playing outside in the sun, so this is a great feature. It is weatherproof and durable to withstand years of outdoor use.

It is made with a galvanized steel frame, and features large wheels that are almost 8 inches in diameter. The wheels also have a notched tread. All of these things help it to be more suitable for playing outdoors.

The polyester net is also weather resistant. The leg height can be adjusted, which is really useful since many outdoor areas will be uneven. Balls and paddles can be stored on the sides of the table.

Pros:

  • Suitable for indoor or outdoor use.
  • Weatherproof.
  • Very high-quality.
  • Adjustable leg height.
  • Ball and racket storage.

Cons:

  • Price.

4. JOOLA Rally TL 300 15mm 5/8 Inch Professional Grade Table Tennis Table with Net Set

This table from JOOLA is a small step up from the other JOOLA table that has already been mentioned. This one costs a little more, but also brings a slightly higher quality.

The table is, of course, regulation size. It’s professional caliber quality, so you can be assured that it will last. This one is 5/8 inch (15mm) thick, and made with medium-density fiberboard (MDF).

Like the previous table from JOOLA, this one also features adjustable leg height to ensure that your table is level. This table also is made up of two independent halves.

Pros:

  • Well made (pro quality).
  • Folds up for easy storage.
  • Two separate halves can be used independently.

Cons:

  • Costs more than the tables previously mentioned.
  • Not quite as high-quality as the higher-priced tables.

5. STIGA Advantage Table Tennis Table

This table from STIGA is very comparable to the previous table from JOOLA. At the time of publication, both are priced almost the same as well.

Of course, it is the official size. Like the JOOLA table, this one is also 5/8 inch (15mm) thick and made with quality materials. It also folds up in the same manner and can easily be stored out of the way. Likewise, you can also play by yourself with one side vertical.

The legs and frame are made with 1.5 inch steel. The table rolls on 3 inch casters.

Also like the JOOLA table, this one is made up of two halves that can be used separately, if you want.

Pros:

  • Affordable price.
  • Well-made for its price (1.5-inch steel legs, 3-inch wheels).
  • Folds up for easy storage.
  • Two separate halves can be used independently.

Cons:

  • Costs more than the EastPoint Table.
  • Not quite as high-quality as the higher-priced tables.

6. JOOLA Inside 15mm Table Tennis Table with Net Set

This table from JOOLA is also at a price within reach for many families, although it is a bit higher than the table from EastPoint. The JOOLA table is regulation size, and 5/8 inch (15 mm) thick. JOOLA is the official brand of table for the US Open and US Nationals Championships, so there is some trust in the brand name as well.

The table is made from durable medium-density fiberboard (MDF). It features a multi-layer painted surface that is designed to produce a consistent bounce.

The space-saving design allows the board to be folded up to take up just a small amount of space. Like the EastPoint Table, it has wheels for moving it easily when folded up, and can also be used in single-player mode by folding just one side.

A nice feature is the option to adjust the leg heights, which makes it possible to get a level playing surface on an uneven floor. The steel legs are 1.5 inches thick, and the wheels are 3 inches in diameter.

One nice feature of this table is that the two halves can be separated, so you can actually use it as two smaller multi-use tables.

Pros:

  • Affordable price.
  • Well-made for its price (1.5-inch steel legs, 3-inch wheels).
  • Folds up for easy storage.
  • Adjustable leg height.
  • Two separate halves can be used independently.

Cons:

  • Costs more than the EastPoint Table.
  • Not quite as high-quality as the higher-priced tables.

7. EastPoint Sports Table Tennis Table

[Budget-friendly] Ping pong tables can get quite expensive, but if you’re looking for a decent table at a great price, this one from EastPoint is an excellent choice. It’s a well-built table, but at a price that most families can afford. It is tournament-sized and folds up nicely for convenient storage. Just fold up both ends and it will take up very little room. This is ideal if your gameroom, basement, or garage is a little tight on space and you only want to have it out when it is being played. Another option is to fold up just one side so you can play by yourself by hitting to ball off the side that is up.

On the sides of the table, next to the net, there is a storage area that holds 4 paddles (2 on each side) and 6 balls (3 on each side). This can be a nice feature for helping to keep the room organized.

The playing surface is fully laminated, to give consistent bounces. The table is 3/4 of an inch (18mm) thick. The frame is made of 1.375 inch steel that is powdercoated and rust resistant. It also has 2-inch diameter wheels (can be locked in place) so you can easily move the table when it is folded up.

This table may not be the model of choice for tournament players, but it’s an excellent, affordable option for home use. In fact, it is our top recommendation for your home gameroom.

Pros:

  • Great price.
  • Well-made for an entry-level price.
  • Folds up for easy storage.
  • Storage bins on the sides of the table will hold paddles and balls.

Cons:

  • Not as high-quality as the higher-priced options.
